Starting Early...

I know it's only July but I have made a start on my Christmas shopping. Normally, I'm not this organised but we have a huge Frozen fan in this house and if I've seen anything Frozen related I've got it before it's sold out and I can't get hold of it nearer to Christmas.

All the smellies are for Bumbly's stocking. There are more to get in this range but our Poundland had very little stock. I'm glad I started early if I'm struggling to get it all now.

The jigsaw I saw today in B&M. I still need to decide if this is for her birthday or if I'm going to put it away for Christmas.

I couldn't leave Roo out! A little something to get his stocking started.

Christmas (and Birthdays) are a big thing in this house. Starting early also means they get better presents instead of rushing around last minute and not being able to get what they'd love.

I'm so excited!

Seaside Fun!

This weekend papa bear had a long weekend so off to the seaside we went. It was so different going by car (PB passed his test a few weeks ago) and muh more enjoyable. We didn't need to worry about all the extra stuff we needed that comes with small children and trying to manage on the bus or train with it. We could leave and come home when we wanted. The best thing about it was at the end of a fun and tiring day we all just jumped in the car and it was relaxing coming home again.

We went for a paddle, built sandcastles, played in the amusements and had the obligatory fish and chips with and ice cream for afters.

Everyone loves it at the seaside, the kids especially. Almost every day Bumbly asks to go to the seaside or swimming. Maybe one day we'll live closer to the seaside...

Poorly little boy

My little Roo is ill :( he has a sickness bug, which for Bumbly means being sick a few times then she's ok, but not for Roo. It gone on for 5 days now. He gets dehydrated and just can't cope. His poor body can't handle any sickness or Illness of any sort.

Tomorrow is a new day and fingers crossed he is on the mend.

Race for Life 2014

Yesterday I completed the Race for Life. I did it in 52m 58s! This was a combination of jogging and walking. I am so chuffed with this result!

Close ups of my medal!

I have been affected personally by cancer so I knew I had to do this, plus I ticked completing a race off my bucket list!

So exhausted yesterday but very happy too!
