Recently, I've been on a mission to declutter our house. Our home is far too small and although we are looking to move to a bigger house that isn't happening for a while yet. This, of course, isn't helped by all the toys and "stuff" that children bring.
BUT (and this is where the rant starts) last month our council decided to change our weekly bin collections to fortnightly and I do understand that they're on a tight budget but it makes decluttering so difficult! I don't have easy access to drop things off at a charity shop so if something isn't good enough for selling it has to be chucked and we're really struggling to do this. Although, in the grand scheme of things, this is very unimportant it is very frustrating! I think we're at a standstill now! This could easily be solved by taking stuff down to the skip but as hubby is currently learning to drive and I will be doing in the very near future we can't as neither of us drives (that old chestnut!) and it's the same for the charity shop. Things are so much easier with a car. We're both itching to be driving but unfortunately it takes time. Argh!
Reading this back, my rant has changed from bin collections to being unable to drive. Funny how things go when you're steaming through because you're annoyed lol! Anyway, I feel a little better now :)

Meal Plan Monday - 1st July
How is it July already? Time is flying by so fast! My little boy is 16 days old now, and it's been an amazing 16 days. Bumbly loves her baby brother and it's a such a joy to see her with him!
So, here's what I have planned for our meal this week, in no particular order:
Pork steaks, mash and veg from the freezer
Stew and dumplings
Fish in a butter sauce, potatoes (of some description) and veg from the freezer
Roast beef, Yorkshire puds, roast potatoes and veg
Turkey curry
Spag bol
Chilli made from leftover spag bol served with tortilla chips and soured cream
Such a yummy mealplan this week, although not very summery... will make that my aim for next weeks mealplan. More fresh and "summery" meals!
This weeks meal plan has been linked to Mrs M's Meal Planning Monday!
